Magic Fingers' mission is to empower women (children included) coming from socially disadvantaged backgrounds by using reject waste material and recycling them to reproduce saleable products by applying patchwork techniques.
Neuram Foundation has partnered with Magic Fingers Association to produce some of the hand-made products to assist the disabled. The products are sold at low cost and are commercialised under the trademark of Lean-On. Neuram provides the know-how in medical products for disabled and brings in the skills in hand-made textile products. This joint venture provides job opportunities to unemployed women from low income disadvantages families around Mauritius.
